Terrenas Women celebrated International Women's Day
Under a visible and powerful mother nature, saying his voice, his wind, the clouds, sun and rain, a group of women and men in Las Terrenas commemorated the centenary of the International Day woman on the beach behind the cemetery at 6 pm on Tuesday 8 March.
had women and men from Spain, of Haiti, the United States, Argentina, Italy, France, the Dominican Republic, Canada, Colombia and Germany, including tourists and local residents. Some gave testimony of women who have contributed in their lives, whether family or not, paid tribute to many women who sat notable examples and precedents, and finally, placed flowers on the sea to celebrate the fact, I lived and desired among all and for all.
The event arose from a concern Cavuoto Lis Nora, Argentina citizen of Italian origin and resident in Las Terrenas and was coordinated by the Mahatma Gandhi Foundation. Annette Snyder, executive director of the Foundation, initiated and facilitated the simple but memorable event.
